Your choices, in your hands.

Manage your Google choices and display preference. Ads and Google Analytics are not yet enabled.

Your Google choices

The Google panel loads at your request. You can accept, refuse or customise your choices, then change them here.

Opening the panel connects your browser to Google; it does not constitute consent. Your QR tools remain available regardless of your choice.

The consent manager

Google receives information needed for the connection and choice management, including your IP address, browser information and the site's domain. The panel presents purposes, proposed legal bases and the current partner list with retention information. Qurl sends it no QR content.

The official Google directory lists, among others, these cookies for its Funding Choices service:

FCCDCF
Stores consent choices; “Functionality” category; stated duration of 13 months.
FCNEC
A cookie Google classifies as “Analytics” for its messaging service; stated duration of 365 days. It is not a Google Analytics cookie and we do not describe it as strictly necessary.

These periods come from the provider; cookies actually used depend on service operation and your choices. Qurl keeps no separate copy of your consent string. To change your decision, use Manage my choices ; to remove data already stored, also use your browser settings.

The Privacy page details recipients, transfers and rights. Hosting statistics remain separate from the Google panel.

Return to your device's theme

Qurl initially follows your system preference. The header's light/dark button lets you choose another theme. This choice is kept in this browser until deleted, with no scheduled expiry.

Your display setting

The preference control requires JavaScript. You can also clear qurl.be data in your browser settings.

This action removes only the theme preference. It does not delete downloaded files.

What is stored

The key qurl-theme contains “light” or “dark” in qurl.be's local storage. This differs from a cookie sent with requests: the site's code does not send this preference to the server.

The preference is sent to the embedded tool to match its appearance, without persistent storage there. Your QR code keeps its own colours when you change theme.
