The Qurl project
Qurl’s publisher details appear in the legal notice.
The service brings together a generator, image reader, print preparation tool and practical guides. No account is needed to use these tools.
The News editorial team
Jérôme Hunincq writes Qurl’s News. Each article presents its sources and distinguishes announced facts from practical advice.

Your content, your file
Content is encoded directly in a static QR code. Qurl creates no intermediary link to count scans or change the destination later.
You can download the result as PNG, SVG or PDF. The file works independently of the generator; for web links, destination availability remains essential. Our lifespan guide explains this difference.
Free, without a subscription
The current version is free, without a subscription or watermark. It currently loads neither ads nor audience measurement scripts. Hosting connections and statistics are described on the Privacy page.
Advertising is planned to help fund the free service. It is not yet enabled. Future placements will be separate from fields, previews and download buttons; your QR content will not be used for targeting.
Clear checks and limits
A QR code that decodes on a computer should also be tested on the intended materials and devices. Read our checks and their limits before sharing your QR code.
