QR tools
Behind the pixels.
The actual content.
Discover a QR code's content from an image.
From content to sharing
Three simple steps.
Choose your image
Select a clear PNG, JPEG or WebP image. Keep the whole QR code and its light quiet zone.
Read the content
The exact text is displayed; for a Wi-Fi QR code, choose whether to reveal its access details. For a full web address, the domain is shown separately.
Check before acting
Compare the domain with the one you expect. No link opens automatically; you can clear the result.
To give you an idea
A fictional example.

Fictional result example. Your image is loaded only after you select it.
Before sharing
Good habits.
- Maximum 10 MB, 4,096 pixels per side and 16 million pixels in total.
- A blurry, cropped or very small image may not be readable. Try the original capture.
- This reader is not an antivirus: a decodable QR code can contain a misleading link.
- SVG and camera access are not available in this version.
Good to know
A few useful pointers.
Is my image sent to Qurl?
No. Reading and previewing are processed locally in the page. They are not retained after reloading.
Can I read a screenshot?
Yes, if it is a PNG, JPEG or WebP image and the QR code is clear enough with its quiet zone intact.
Is the link safe if the QR code can be read?
Reading only confirms the decoded content. Domain and scheme information are pointers, not a guarantee of safety.
