From content to sharing
Three steps to your text QR code.
Write your message
Enter the text exactly as it should be read. Spaces, accents and line breaks are preserved.
Check every line
View the exact encoded content to check that no characters are missing.
Test the scan
Scan the downloaded file and check the text displayed in your app.
To give you an idea
A fictional example.
Bienvenue à l’atelier ! Rendez-vous à l’accueil, salle 2.
This data illustrates the format. Your form stays empty until you type.
Before sharing
Good habits.
- Anyone with the QR code can read the text. It is not encrypted.
- Qurl accepts up to 1,200 bytes of encoded content. Some characters take several bytes; shorter text produces a less dense QR code.
Good to know
Before creating your text QR code.
Do I need internet access to read the text?
The text is contained in the QR code itself. Reading it does not require loading a Qurl page, but you need an app that can decode it.
Can I correct the message after printing?
The QR code's text is fixed. A correction requires a new file and replacement of the QR code on your materials.
